I use an extra mailserver for the domain based mail routing in every MX
chain

1. assp1->mail-domain-router1->"some virus scanner"->MTA1(Domino)
                ^
                |
                v
2. assp2->mail-domain-router2->"some virus scanner"->MTA2(Domino)

for incoming mail - and the same way back for outgoing mails.

(If SF changes the font - both mail-domain-router are connected via VPN -
and both domino too for replication and both assp too for the config
sync/blockreporting/file sharing.)

Thanks Thomas for your answer. It looks like I must use the postfix again.

Thx and have a nice Weekend.

Because ASSP is an Proxy this could only be done IP based. At the moment,
the IP connection is established, assp has no information about the target
domain.

Betreff: [Assp-test] Different transport gateways for each domain

Hello,

I have a little problem to configure the ASSP to send mails for different
domains to another SMTP inside gateway.

On postfix I used "transport" with something like this:
#example.com          smtp:[inside-gateway.example.com]
Group01.com                      smtp: inside-gateway01.example.com
Group02.com                      smtp: inside-gateway02.example.com

OLD:
                            Group01.com
Incoming mail ->                        -> inside-gateway01.example.com
                            Group02.com

NEW:
                            Group01.com -> inside-gateway01.example.com
Incoming mail ->
                            Group02.com -> inside-gateway02.example.com

Is it possible to set up the ASSP in the way also?

Thanx for your help.
Martin
