Hi all,
Win32::Unicode was updated to version 0.37, which fixes the BUG that has
caused ASSP to die in several cases.
The updated module installation is avalable at SF-CVS as a separate
download, at SF-CVS and SF-public-download in assp.mod.zip
and in the ASSP2 ppm repository.
You may remove Win32::Unicode from the 'auto update skip list'.
I've successfully tested the version 0.37 on W2K3SP2 with ActivePerl
5.12.4.
Additionaly tests (and reports) on other windows OS and Perl versions are
wanted!
Note:
Even if any version 0.33-0.36 is running without a crash on your system -
these module versions produces memoryleaks in the OS kernel (ntdll.dll) -
which could has side effects on other applications on the system !
