I have logs (because I log authentication requests) from 4 outlook
clients that all show the same thing:

Oct-10-12 18:23:52 [SSL-in] 67.138.157.178 info: authentication - login
is used;
Oct-10-12 18:23:52 [SSL-in] 67.138.157.178 [SMTP Error] 535 5.7.0
authentication failed;
Oct-10-12 18:23:52 [SSL-in] 67.138.157.178 warning: SMTP authentication
failed;

These users have no issues with sending emails but it seems that
Outlook 2010 tries an authentication method first that is not supported
and then a second one that works. I want to try to stop this so I was
wondering if anyone had any ideas on this. I'm running version 1.9.4.5
if that matters at all. Authentication is provided through SASL to
sendmail.

Sendmail authentication is set as:

TRUST_AUTH_MECH(`GSSAPI DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN')dnl

Thanks for any information is advance... I realize this isn't an ASSP
issue but figured someone had seen this before.
