Assumptions.... ;-)
A typical installation for me starts like this:
wget -O assp-files-today.tar.gz
'http://assp.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/assp/assp2/?view=tar'
tar xvzf assp-files-today.tar.gz
chown -R assp.assp /opt/assp2
chmod +x /opt/assp2/*.pl
The plugin comes just like the rest.
