That's not soo clear. For example: if BerkeleyDB is used the 'engine' and
the 'driver' are the same code part in Perl - but
for all relational databases the 'engine' means the daemon, the driver
could be any that supports the DB(XS, PurePerl, ODBC ....) - at least the
DB implemenation could differ from OS to OS.

it should be 'documentation'.
The next paragraph says:

It should say 'depends on the DBD driver used'.
please read the drivers documentation
should be "driver's documentation"
