I'm still on 1.99, but have had a similar issue in the past. Check your LDAPcrossCheckInternval "Show Found Cache". We do LDAP lookups against our AD and I had to really work on the LDAP Filter for Local Addresses. We've got contacts created in AD for external addresses and our LDAP search was finding those contacts and seeing them as internal address and adding them to the LDAP cache and the messages would be blocked with all sorts of strange failures. I wish that the ASSP would only allow LDAP lookups for addresess that have domains listed in localDomains or localDomainsFile...
