ASSP is build to hack all your systems including firewalls, proxies,
registries, mail accounts, security appliances and administration
accounts.
So there is no way to prevent assp from doing a self update.

Hello all,
long time, no write.
I have an installation with assp. It used to be
v1.5.7.x (something, I can't remember).
The other day, assp decided to upgrade itself
to :
ASSP Version: 1.9.9(13250)
which if fine by me.
One question though.
How exactly does assp upgrade ?
As far as I know, the box (assp living inside the
mailserver which is an smtp/pop3 one) lives inside
the networks DMZ.
Again, as far as I know, It just can't go outside
and get any updates it desires. . . .
Any ideas ?
