Ok, decided to further fathom this and maybe found the culprit; ran a "ppm upgrade" which reported a number of "outdated" modules, so went on, stopped ASSP and ran a "ppm upgrade --install" once that completed upgraded ASSP (and the lib modules) to the latest version, deleted rebuildspamdb.pm, and the sl-cache, files\optRE and tmpDB folder, then started ASSP and... issue solved; sounds like it may/was related to some outdated module which the latest ASSP didn't like (now I hope I didn't jinx it... watching it, hope the problem won't resurface) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Android apps run on BlackBerry 10 Introducing the new BlackBerry 10.2.1 Runtime for Android apps.
