CORRECTION: The file that I copied over from WIndows 8 was msvcrP71 not R,
so forget that.

I was able to grab msvcr71.dll from an old Windows 2003 box and copy it
over the the bin folder under the perl installation.    And the good news,
ASSP is reporting that it sees the module now, and it's reporting the
correct version.

Still interested in your thoughts here though.  Any danger of the way I've
done things specific to ASSP?


Related,Net::IP is shown as 1.05 being installed, 1.26 required.  However
PPM shows 1.26 as being installed.  Guidance?
