I am constantly receiving DNS errors which then cause assp to die, as per the logs: Error: DNS - unable to create any UDP socket to nameservers () -
This happens all the time on 5 assp systems that get a lot of mail traffic. The problem is not the DNS servers, as I have pointed them to many dns servers in addition to the amazon web service dns and they continue to die. I have a monit process that restarts assp automatically when this happens. I’m using version ASSP version 2.4.1(14097). I’ve tried different versions of Net-DNS as well, 0.74 which is the latest and 0.61 which is the recommended version by assp and both have the same issue. I have the reuse udp sockets on, but the error happens with or without that.
