Hi,

Apparently Attachment Blocking is not behaving the way I had expected.
It seems that I haven't really sent attachments smaller than my
noProcessingSize before, since I didn't notice this much sooner, when I
added Level 3 to block zips.

So I have configured:
(DoBlockExes) = block
(BlockExes) = Level 3
(BlockWLExes) = Level 1
(BlockNPExes) = Level 1

I have the default Level 1 rejected extensions, and have zip|url for the
Level 3 extensions. I expect that the settings above will block emails
with file attachments with extensions .zip and .url for unknown users
(spam/viruses), but allow them through for local and whitelisted users.
However this is not the case, it seems that simply all Level 3
attachments are blocked, for all users. ASSP should see my connections
as an authenticated/local user, as I am using SMTP-AUTH for sending. I
tried a number of different methods for authentication, but none would
let me send my attachment.

Am I reading the options wrong here, or is the ASSP behavior not working
as intended in this case?

How would I implement the behavior that I am looking for, which is to
greatly restrict attachments for external users, but relax the
restrictions slightly for whitelisted and local users?

thanks,
-C
