Yeah, a chuckle (and I hope that didn't come across as mean spirited or anything - certainly wasn't intended that way - I just gave a chuckle, because it's more of a "yeah right - that'll never be approved" type of situation - I didn't mean it as a commend on you in any way)
The problem is that dmarcian's free service doesn't have much in the way of reporting and doesn't have any email alerts. Their pay service sounds terrific, but that's just not a possibility here. So, I was hoping to see ASSP handle some of this for us. It appears that its already able to send the aggregated XML reports to the dmarc addresses per domain, so I'm wondering if it's reasonable to extend ASSP to parse those xml reports that come inbound. Do you think that would be a useful feature? Maybe it could even be extended in the future to do notifications if a threshold is hit, or just daily emailed reports. Dmarcian, just stripped down, emailed a midnight, like this: OurCharity.org reports ------------------------------------ Failure reports: 2015-05-03 11:02am from microsoft.com Email from <<bad guy IP>> 2015-05-03 10:51pm from google.com Email from <<bad guy IP>> 2015-05-03 10:55pm from microsoft.com Email from <<bad guy IP>> Aggregated report (number of emails / spf / dkim) <<our ip address>> microsoft.com: 299 / pass / pass google.com: 842 / pass / pass hotmail.com: 112 / pass / pass <<third party ip allowed>> microsoft.com: 15 / pass / none google.com: 11 / pass / none <<bad guy ip address>> microsoft.com: 2 / fail / none google.com: 1 / fail / none OurSecondDomain.org --------------------------------------- etc. On Mon, May 4, 2015 at 12:04 PM, Grayhat <gray...@gmx.net> wrote: > :: On Mon, 4 May 2015 11:36:22 -0400 > :: <CALhpkA=5pxi9xM7rrP-gO3guwN5LkEd_UTdubf=L=fdkkue...@mail.gmail.com> > :: K Post <nntp.p...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > On Mon, May 4, 2015 at 2:28 AM, Grayhat <gray...@gmx.net> wrote: > > > > > > > > yes, have a look here https://dmarcian.com/get_started/ :) > > > > > > > Thanks for the chuckle grayhat!
