I'm trying to be helpful. I didn't say all checks, just in this one situation. It's not like it's a frequent thing where A and MX records both return nothing. What's the real performance/resource cost to doing a dns a lookup one more time when these rare things happen just to insure that we're not scoring inaccurately due to one dns server giving a wrong result?
