v.2.5.2(16117) w2k8 x64 with plenty of RAM WAN/LAN -> ASSP -> MTA (ASSP/MTA in same box)
i have noticed that bigger mails (several MB) take much longer ASSP to send QUIT to MTA after transmission is completed.
tested with an 8MB mail (npRe, nothing is checked): sent from LAN client : QUIT 45-50 secs after transmission send from WAN client : same send via ISP : QUIT 60-65 secs after transmission it doesn't matter SSL/TLS or no security.however if I send the same mail directly to MTA bypassing ASSP, MTA sends QUIT as soon as transmission ends. i played with various Server Setup settings but no avail. thanks for any advise.
