For both cases and the same .eml file store the HTML source in to a file.
Compare the files.
The HTML for the buttons is at the end of the HTML source - very easy to
find. I think the HTML source in both cases will be the same.
Possibly a browser cache cleanup will help.

An issue I've had for quite a while - but never reported. When I select a
detected spam email in the log, and then in the popup I choose to "copy
file to correctednotspam" - the buttons disappear. To resend the file, I
need to close the popup, then re-open from the log - then I can resend.
