assp 2.5.5 17023 and 17223 perl 5.18.2 linux 4.4.74-18.20-default x86_64 I installed 2.5.5-177223 and ASSP_AFC 4.58. ASSP crashes silently (nothing in the logs) after 1 - 12 hours. I disabled the plugin ASSP_AFC (by renaming it); ASSP still silently crashed. I then reverted to ASSP 2.5.5-17023 which had been quite stable. It silently crashed as well. :-( Finally I replaced ASSP_AFC 4.58 with 4.55. No joy.
I get a number of log entries for PERL module updates that contain this message: "... - but found 'NOT OK' or not found '- OK' at the end of the command output" Two modules (B and Benchmark) fail because they require later versions (5.24, 5.26) than what is installed (5.18). The rest fail due to not finding installed header files. However, in no case are the current versions of modules listed less than the required/recommended versions. Much later (2 days): Worker_10000 had been permanently hung on updating mod_perl, one of the aforementioned "NOT OK" module updates.
