>but what is it?

The main reason to bring this option up to the GUI is (caused by me) my
mistake. The default value for the hidden parameter was 7 - AND this was
NOT documented anywhere. I was mentally absend!

Call it the feature for the lazy admins, who do not want to use DKIMWL
Yes, it makes no great sense, but this option is somehow to long available
to remove it.

0 - (rwl = 1) is a very "soft" whitelisting
1 - collect all penaltys for the mail but not for the IP - prevents global
players (gmail ....) IP's from getting too black
2 - zero the IP score - usefull only in rare cases

>There's nothing stopping a spammer from DKIM signing messages if they
control the domain.

Thats's true - but than 'DKIMstrict' , 'blackListedDomains' and 'blackOrg'
are your best friends. You'll get an 100% detection rate for those
domains. Also the corpus will benefit from those spammers. Not to forget
the nice IP scores in griplist and GPB.
I can't get enough of those spam mails.

Betreff: [Assp-test] DKIMpassAction use case?

Now that DKIMpassAction is no longer just a hidden option, can you
explain use scenarios again? I understand what the GUI is saying, I just
can think of reasons why anyone would want anything other than the (newly)
0 default.

DKIMWL and DKIMNP has been life changing for us. Really incredible. I'm
just not sure how DKIMpassAction would be beneficial above that.

There's nothing stopping a spammer from DKIM signing messages if they
control the domain. In what scenarios would bits 0, 1, or 2 be useful
then? Why would you ever want to RWL, noPB, or set a zero IP score for
absolutely >any< DKIM signed email? There's obviously a reason to have
the option or you wouldn't have put it into the GUI, but what is it?

Thanks
Ken
