1st of all, thanks for adding it to 1.2.4(3) Fritz. > So, there is image-only email you are getting from non-white listed > users - and you *must* receive it?
Not my choice. > Honestly, this scenario sounds illogical. > Cant they simply be added to the whitelist or noProcessing > lists? They being the sending address which is not whitelisted right? They do get added to the whitelist when we learn of the necessity. > My noProcessing list is 300+ lines long. These are all addresses of newsletters, email lists, and the like right? Mine is not that long, mostly because those are only marked as bayesian spam and we don't block that. > My npRe is 50+. Are > you using yours appropriately? Appropriate? In who's eyes? I don't know. I think I am. I add to the npRE and noProcessing addresses as I learn of the need to tell ASSP not to look at those emails coming in or out. Is that appropriate? > I still don't see a legitimate reason > why this issue should require a new feature. Its not really a new feature, just an extension of the existing concept. It may not turn out to be useful to everyone, or anyone for that matter, but maybe it will. > Agreed, not using bombRe the way it is intended would be detrimental for > your ability to block spam. Changing bombRe functionality is (I'm sure > we all agree) out of the question. Well, at least we agree on something. :o) Thanks for your thoughts, Doug ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
