That's exactly what I am trying to address - and hopefully make less
"tail-chasing" work for Fritz or any other developers. It seemed to me
that Travis's issue was reminiscent of "module-missing" issues of the
past, which is why I rehashed this discussion. I'm certainly not
looking to make more work for anyone (esp Fritz).

I agree in theory, but not in practice. :-) The reason I wrote the
script that I handed off to Travis was specifically for these kinds of
issues where the installer/admin is unfamiliar with ASSP, Perl, Perl
modules, etc. The Win32 admin probably being more-likely to be
unfamiliar with Perl, etc. Over the years of learning how to use ASSP
myself and participating in this list, module mis-use is a repetitive
issue that is not always easy to identify.

I know that people want choices (so do I!), and want as little
restrictions as possible (again, so do I!). But, in my research I have
found no reason (and no one has been able to present me with a valid
one) as to why everyone can't be required to install all modules. To me
it seems like an easy way to eliminate a whole spectrum of
supportability issues.
