Hi John, its great to see you online and kicking! :-) The spam depicted in spam1.jpg was an interesting challenge for me. This is along the lines of what I came up with: ---------- BGCOLOR=(['".]|).[EF].[EF].[^>]*>.*?<FONT.*?COLOR=(['".]|).[EF].[EF].# spam - light-colored background with light-colored text ---------- I didn't bother trying to match words which were completely broken up in HTML - I matched the way the spammer tried to trick you into interpreting them - by using light-colored text. My regex matches similarly shaded background and font colors. This worked great for me. But, I'd be interested to hear what other ways other people attacked this issue.
