Yeah ASSP handles that and asks for more. I have one install that was
handling over 1,000,000 messages per day. (1 domain, just obliterated
by spam)

He called ASSP a "smtp gateway". It's a proxy. (Anti-Spam SMTP Proxy)

Not a wrong fact but...
He also called into question the ability of ASSP to handle high mail
loads on windows. The server with over 1 Million messages a day was
running on Server 2003 with the latest Active Perl.
