All ASSP does is send the proper smtp reply telling the sending server it was rejected/delayed. Should the sender get an email it will not be generated by ASSP but by the senders email server.
There is also the possibility that your MTA that ASSP is in front of will send messages to some people. This is something that the MTA software must be configured to do/not do.
