The problem has re-appeared again and following is the error message in Outlook Express when I try to send an email: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'xxxxxxxxx', Server: 'smtp.xxxxxxx', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
The error message appears immediately when I send the email. Usually the SMTP authentication is very slow and there is not any error message in maillog.txt or IMail logs. It is intermittent and it occurs often when the Perl.exe service is overloading (about 25% CPU).
