Better scan the viruses in your SMTP-Aplication (or
use
hmailserver between ASSP and your mailserver) to scan for
viruses.
This will also reduce CPU-Load as fewer messages are scanned.
I am using Linux not Windows. I think something is wrong with this
option, because i did a gfi test again and now it detected the eicar
signature, i send an eicar myself and it did not detect it, i have
verbose logging enabled in clamd and it says on every "virus" ->
stream: OK, maybe not the whole message is passed through ??
If i scan the spam or notspam dir, it find about a 100 of
virussess! Please advise!
