Reminds me of an old joke. A guy gets pulled over by the highway patrol for doing just a few mph/kph over the posted limit. He asks the officer if it was illegal to tell him he was an asshole and the officer replied that it was in fact illegal to call him names like that. The guy then asks if it was illegal to think the officer is an asshole and the officer says that, no, the guy was allowed to think whatever he wanted.
