Hi Dustin, The default settings are the recommended ones. Most people can jujst use these to startr with with no trouble, but of course, only you know all of the details of your situation. The main thing to be aware of, imho, is to not rely heavily on the bayesian filters - many people only use these in test mode. If you do want to rely on them, you need to, at a minimum, provide a decent ham/spam corpus, otherwise it will take a while to build these up and will be a lot of work retraining ASSP.
