Not half as confusing as those American dates are to the rest of us! The
"correct" solution is to use the format yyyymmdd, with whichever separation
characters suit you. This makes sorting easier, but requires training your
head - an ongoing process for semi-senile / sleep-deprived chaps like me.

Nope ;-) 1.2.7 is set to be released on the 1st February, 2007 (for us
Europeans & Africans. I'm both, just to confuse us all) Or, to take my own
advice, on 2007-02-01.

I'm certainly looking forward to its release. In hindsight, the suggestion
made a few weeks ago to delay release until more extensive testing was
completed seems to have been wise. We've had about 40 (50?) versions in the
meantime! Well done, all.
