indeed - it seems to be a problem with outgoing mail from an exchange
server:

Feb-1-07 16:07:46 194.88.yyy.xx<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] whitelist addition: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

guess i'll need to dig a bit in the configs about this...
