OK, now for some observations. Even though it claims to be installing as a service it is NOT started as a service. The ASSP process should NOT be started from the perl command line but should be issued the command 'net start asspsmtp'. Also the default assp.cfg file needs to contain the setting 'AsAService: 1' Why are we bundling VS2005 image libraries with the installer? That file alone is 2MB, and a waste of space IMO. The documentation link should be to the wiki and not the Faq-O-Matic. Following the above the wiki link should be removed. It should ask to create desktop icons, bad bad installer behavior.
