I do not remember any comments on the list in this regard.
Whilst "upgrading" (today, I know, a bit late :)) from v1.2.7.2 to
v1.3.0 I got the following error.

../assp/assp.pl: line 3: syntax error near unexpected token [EMAIL PROTECTED],'
../assp/assp.pl: line 3: `unshift(@INC, "./perl/darwin-2level");'
"
Which I solved by deleting the 1st *BLANK* line in assp.pl.
I was using wget so i do not think that it was added in the
download process. Indeed, re-downloading and opening
in notepad gives.

#!/usr/bin/perl"
Maybe there is an extra CR in there?
