I'm having the exact same problem, but even when the senders I'm using for testing are not on the whitelist it still let's the eicar test through. I've got the buffer size and av bytes size set to 100000. I'm using 1.2.6. It's catching phishing stuff but no viruses. If I manually run clamscan on the file it detects it fine. Any ideas?
