I'm processing 18K messages/day on a P4 3.2 GHz Dell Optiplex desktop running Windows 2003 Server SP1, ASSP 1.3.0 & Perl 5.8.8. It could handle more. Most of the time is below 10% but I see occasional peaks as high as 60-70% for a short time. I'm not running Clam AV
