Check 'NotGreedyWhitelist' then submit, then UnCheck 'NotGreedyWhitelist' and submit. Also Try running the email through the Mail Analyzer to see if it shows as whitelisted, this might also reveal why the mail is not whitelisted. As for why the address is not getting added to the whitelist this happens because when you don't forward as an attachment there are no headers to check thus the address in question does not get added.
