I believe there is a cron job that comes with the "ASSP X" code that you 
have to run that updates the addresses in ASSP.

Yes thats why. Again, i believe there is a cron job for this.

Permissions issue perhaps. Who is the owner of the file?

I'm not sure an immutable file setting is wise :)

Check the timestamp before and after the change, if it's not updating 
there might be a permissions issue, though i believe the edit window 
would tell you this.
