I read that the scripts are working ? So that issue is gone. However i changed the scripts slidely because Plesk always does someting new with new versions :( I will put them on wiki shortly. You should however be fine with the scripts, only the way catch-all domains are handled by Plesk / Qmail has changed as from 8.1.1 i believe! And i found a small glitch in strange e-mails. The authentication issue is really odd. Can you tell my what version of Plesk you are running and what did you put in: ASSP: - SMTP Listen Port - SMTP Destination Plesk: Server-Mail-Whitelist All entries please!
