I am running Windows but Net::DNS has never been a problem. I downgraded just to see if this was the reason.
I use the default regex'es except for some greedy lines I've deleted and a few additions. Most of the lines have been working flawlessly on earlier versions of assp before. I've even cleaned up my whitelist since assp seems to be reading this file a lot. I'm still running with bayesian turned on. After I turned off ClamAv there have been no problems for about 30 min. on both machines - which is pretty good compared to before. With Assp 1.3.3.1 perl.exe would eat 100% cpu after a few min. but assp kept running fine. Assp 1.3.3.2(2) did the same but eventually it stopped responding all together. Mvh. Personally i run 0.60 (windows) and i haven't seen the issue in ages. *knocks on wood* > - removed various regex-files to test for bad regexes The default ones should be clean. > Currently I'm testing if turning off ClamAv makes any difference (so far so > good).
