ASSP used that much during the transfer. Later Clamd.exe used 100%.

It should be said that this is normal behaviour on the machine. It's an old 
laptop with a weak cpu - but it uses only 20 watts and is more than capable of 
running assp, clamd, GFI mailsecurity etc.

Hmm .. which process took up all that CPU ? ASSP or the ClamD ? In either case, 
I can say that I had the same problem (cpu usage) when checking the "scan local"
option; in that case all emails from local users to local users got scanned and 
that took up a lot of CPU; I think the option should be changed to only scan 
emails from local users to external ones (keeping all the others btw) and if 
needed adding a second option to scan local to local messages
