Hello on assp 1.3.3.3 I have found on a linux server (only on this linux server) the following problem.
If I enable an assp filter which uses NET::DNS and/or email::valid perl module ( so MX/A, HELO, PTR, SPF checks) assp cpu goes near to 100% (ASSP info stat page), and each time a client SENDS an email there are big timeouts (10/30 seconds) . Also with very few smtp connection (less than 5 smtp connections) and with cpu server load low (under 1). If I disable all assp filters which use NET::DNS and email::valid perl module ( so MX/A, HELO, PTR, SPF checks , all disabled) assp cpu goes on info stat page goes under 50% , and each time a client SENDS an email there is no timeouts , it's FAST . Which could be the cause ? . How could I trace the problem ? I tried also older version of NET:DNS , same problem , I tried to fully disable the firewall , same problem.
