If you are talking about using the Email Interface to send a message and then get the analysis back then it would work just like any other email interface address IMHO. If you mean as auth for accessing the web-gui you should never allow unfiltered access to it from the internet, that's just plain WRONG, so no it would not be an acceptable auth method in that instance.
