Hi all, while I was making some tests to better identify my problems (see
my previous message), i ran into another problem.
If I send a mail with a "big" (1Mbyte) clean attachment from my gmail
account, or my yahoo account it makes perl peak to 100% when parsing the
message, and it never finishes cleanly.

So the messages are never delivered, and I restart ASSP, and after a while
the remote SMTP retries sending and again perl peaks up to 100% and ...I'm
in a loop!

What I've tried to do:

- disable ClamAV scanning (no effect)
- removing "dangerous extensions" such as gif and pdf from the
SuspiciousAttach field

By the way, external attachment blocking is set to 0 (DoBlockExes = 0) so I
don't even understand why the hell it keeps trying to parse the attachments!!

GRRR...

If I don't find a solution here are the things I'm gonna try:

- downgrade to ASSP 1.3.3.7, hoping it will be better
- return back to my previous antispam filter (SIGH!)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

I haven't got enough hair to rip from my skull anymore!

Thank you in advance,

Michele
