Hello Mike,
1. Just download the "upgrade" package
2. Stop ASSP service
3. only replace 3-4 .pl files, don't overwrite files in /rules or /files
directory.
4. Review permissions on these files
5. Restart ASSP service
6. Login to Admin panel, review all the options and apply changes
7. You're done
That's how i did :)
