No, you misunderstand...

Uptime, in every circle I've known, means precisely that - how long the 
service in question been running since the last time it was RESTARED.

Not how much time has elapsed since the first time you installed 
whatever was the first version you installed.

I have no problem with accumulating *additional* stats like that, but if 
you are correct, then what ASSP is calling uptime is NOT 'uptime' in any 
sense that any other application calls uptime...
