Greetings, great and powerful wizards of the spam eating snake.
I've been running a 1.2.6 version of ASSP here for a couple of years and
I'm in the process of moving the existing anti-spam/mail setup to a new
mail server. Currently I run ASSP on a Windows box which points to a
Linux machine running postfix. Since the Linux box is pretty low end
I've chosen not to migrate the ASSP instance to the same box. Now that
I'm upgrading the machine I'd like to consolidate things onto a single
box. The perfect time to upgrade to newer code as well it would
certainly seem. :) Since I'll be changing versions I'm fine with just
configuring everything from scratch do deal with the new options, etc.,
but I'd really like to move my ham/spam corpi and whitelist, etc. Since
this is a low volume server it takes quite some time to retrain and I'd
like to avoid the extended training period all over again. What files
do I need to move to best accomplish that? Is there anything else I
should also move to accomplish as seamless a transition as possible?
