I did so but without any success. Only change is that the "no processing" log 
entry is not printed out. 

I just saw a message in my mail.log:
postfix/smtpd[9511]: timeout after DATA (0 bytes) from localhost[127.0.0.1]

As I can see it is the process of the failing mail. So the timout problem is 
not at ASSP but at postfix. But on the other hand shouldn't ASSP simply proxy 
the data? It seems like ASSP waits until all data has arrived and then 
forward it to the mailserver. But the mailserver has a idle timeout, too and 
close the connection after some time.

Is there a way to hold up the connection with my SMTP or is it the best to 
disable postfix's idle timeout?
