Currently when an email is submitted to the whitelist email address, the return report(if any) states what email addresses were in it and if they were already on the whitelist, or just were whitelisted.
It would be nice to have the same type of thing when submitting to this is spam¹, or whatever you name the opposite address of the whitelist email interface address. So when spam is reported, I can see if it is on the whitelist via the response. Because there are not per user whitelists, our policy is to not allow users to remove people from the whitelist. Someone in purchasing may need that pesky Staples flyer that comes through twice a day where as someone in fire and rescue may keep removing it from the whitelist. That¹s our reasoning. The problem comes in when someone contacts our helpdesk saying they keep sending something to thisisspam¹ and it keeps coming to them. If it is whitelisted, of course it is going to, but there is no way for our helpdesk to know that with out having direct access to ASSP. If our helpdesk could see in the spam submission response report that the email address is whitelisted, they could handle it with out passing it off to me. No coffee yet this morning..
