Yes, you can ignore it. Or set up the MTA's SSL too so that there
will also be SSL between ASSP and the MTA.
As you noted, this is not important since your ASSP and MTA are on
the same host. If they were on different hosts, you'd be more likely
to want to enable SSL in the MTA's config, too.
