For what its worth--

I created a public folder [email protected], and gave 2 users access to
remove/delete emails from the folder. I instructed them to
check/delete/forward on a daily basis to keep the "house clean".

So far, it has been working very well, no one complains about spam in the
mailbox, missed emails due to the spam folder -- and even better, the system is
staying up to date on incoming false positives..

I use the administrator account on my domain for just about every
administrative message from monitoring apps, printers and the like.

In ASSP, 1st option in the "Copy Spam & Ham" section is
"Copy Spam and Send to this Address", I added [email protected].

The spam address is just an extra email address ([email protected]) on
the admin account. I created a "spam" folder using outlook web access,
and a filter to move all mail sent to "[email protected]" into that
folder.

I look through it now and then, set the exchange IMF (Intelligent
message Filters) to 6, which moves the bulk of things to the junk mail
folder. If I see a false positive in my Spam folder, I know to go find
the errant message. The Exchange junk mail folder on the admin account
would only contain messages that have failed both ASSP as well as the
IMF, so I empty it without reading any of the messages.

Don, this was a great idea; I've been cutting and pasting into a message
and just blaming the spam filter!

But, *please* tell me how you have your sendallspam account set up! I've
tried several different things, posted on the forum asking for help, and
nothing. I'd like to use [email protected] but nothing
is sent to it.

I can't tell you how much I'd appreciate a push in the right direction!

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any way to do this through ASSP, but when I come across
them, with Exchange I just copy (not move) them into the "pickup"
folder. (C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\PickUp)

I copy the message, rather than move them, because I also go into my
sendallspam account and forward them to the assp-notspam address to keep
training the Bayesian filters.

Is there a way to "pass" the emails saved in the spam folder and mark
them for redelivery?

Thank you,
