I also just made the jump from 1.4.3 to 1.5.1.1. No problems here with the upgrade.
I did upgrade/install the necessary perl modules first, then just followed the instructions in the install.txt file that came in the zip file. Running CentOS 4.7, 1 gig of ram, in case that helps.
