uh... WHY ?

I think that the better setup would be setting up ASSP
to listen on public_ip:25 and proxy connections toward
gwise_ip:25 then, for outbound you'll need to setup the
gwise to use the assp box IP as the smarthost and
point to the ASSP relayport; at that point ASSP will
get such outbound connections from the gwise and
proxy them to (e.g.) postfix (or whatever) sitting on
the same ASSP box and listening on (say) 2525, the
latter will then proceed routing emails to destination
hosts carrying on outbound connection to port 25
of such hosts; any other host on the lan (either servers
or clients) should be DISALLOWED from contacting
external hosts on their port 25
