I upgraded from an old version to 1.5.1.8 several weeks ago. Everything has been going fine up until this am. Around 9am, hundreds of addresses start being white listed by a remote user, seconds later, they are relayed to my relay host and out they go.
I've been trying to block him since them but can't seem to do it. I don't want to block the ip/networks/domains because I want to see assp stop this, not ip/domain blocking. So far, here are the changes I've made and he continues to spam. Turned off the Email interface yet somehow, I was still watching him sending whitelist addresses but this seemed to stop now. Enabled: Only local or authenticated users contribute to the whitelist. (WhitelistLocalOnly) Enabled: Only users with a local domain in mailfrom contribute to the whitelist. (WhitelistLocalFromOnly) Disabled: Do Not Block Whitelisted Forged Helo's (DoFakedWL) Disabled: Do Not Block Noprocessing Forged Helo's (DoFakedNP) Enabled: Do Local Domain Check for Local Sender (DoLocalSenderDomain) I have also added my domains file for Local Domains File (localDomainsFile) He continues to find ways into this. I've not become an expert by any means in assp but was able to enjoy spam free mail for a couple of years now.
